The Apps Page
Keep the Play Store blocked and still add apps. The Apps page inside Siyag lists the free apps Siyag has approved for that phone, and one tap on Get installs one from Google Play — behind a cover, so the phone’s user never sees or touches the Play Store. Other apps are listed with Request instead: Siyag approves those phone by phone. And an app that isn’t listed at all can be asked for on the same page. The PIN holder can turn the page off on a phone, and it needs an internet connection; the blocking itself never does.

Standard filters are just apps.
Any app can be uninstalled. Any app's permissions can be revoked through Settings. Siyag installs as Device Owner — a system-level permission that no regular app or Settings menu can touch without your PIN. The reset option inside Settings is disabled too; a recovery-mode wipe still erases the phone, but it takes everything else with it.
App blocks alone aren't enough.
Block an app, and someone tries a browser instead. Block the Play Store too, and no new app opens without your PIN except one Siyag itself has approved on its Apps page — even an app sent to the phone from a computer arrives blocked — closing the loop, while on-device detection catches AI assistants built directly into the apps your family already uses.

Siyag is a kosher phone app that installs on the Android device itself — there is no service to subscribe to and no server involved in the blocking. It uses Android's Device Owner mode, so once it is set up it cannot be uninstalled or disabled through Settings without your PIN, and because everything runs on the phone it keeps working with no internet connection. It does not filter website content the way a subscription filtering service does — it blocks the browser and the Play Store instead.

The factory reset option inside Settings is blocked. While Siyag is set up as device owner that menu is disabled, along with the more common bypass routes - uninstalling the app, disabling it in Settings, or turning off its accessibility permission. The one thing no Android app can stop is a hardware-key wipe from recovery mode: that erases the whole phone, Siyag included - but it also wipes every photo, message and account and forces a full setup from scratch, so it is a drastic, visible step rather than a quiet workaround. What it does do is block apps: any installed app, including browsers, can be disabled with a tap, and AI assistants embedded inside messaging apps are detected and blocked on-device. If you need a site unreachable entirely, blocking the browser (or the Play Store, to stop a new one from being installed) is the intended approach.
Yes. You can block the Play Store entirely, so the phone’s user cannot browse it or download from it. A new browser, AI app or VPN cannot simply be downloaded to work around your existing blocks — closing one of the most common bypass methods. While it is blocked, a new app that reaches the phone any other way, even one sent to it from the Google Play website on a computer, arrives blocked and opens only with your PIN. The only new apps that open without your PIN are ones Siyag itself has approved for that phone, from the Apps page inside Siyag — and you can turn that page off on the phone in Siyag’s settings.

Or the phone’s user can open the Apps page inside Siyag: it lists the free apps Siyag has approved for that phone, and one tap on Get installs one from Google Play behind a cover, so the Play Store itself is never shown to the user or left open. You block only what you don't want. Out of the box Siyag only closes the ways around itself — adding extra users, USB debugging, installing apps from files, and the factory reset inside Settings. Every app block is your choice.
No measurable impact on day-to-day performance. All blocking runs as a lightweight on-device service — there's no VPN and no traffic routed through external servers. In our testing it does not noticeably slow the phone down, drain battery faster, or affect call quality. The device runs as it did before — with the boundaries you set enforced silently in the background.
No. Siyag is a blocking tool, not a surveillance tool. It keeps no record of which apps you open or for how long, and it does not log your browsing history, record keystrokes or messages, or track your location. Blocking is decided on the phone itself. A short list of things does reach our server: the setup details (a random device identifier, the name you give the device, the recovery email if you set one, and the app version), any request you choose to send, the result of an install you start from the Apps page, and the names of apps newly installed during, or just after, a temporary unlock that opens the Play Store or lifts blocking altogether. The Privacy Policy lists each one exactly.

Yes, by asking Siyag. The phone’s user can request a short unlock of one blocked app, or of the whole device. The request goes to Siyag — not to you — and Siyag approves or declines it, either by a person or by a rule set for that app. Access lasts a set time, five minutes by default, and relocks automatically when it ends. Up to three requests can be open at once, each approved and timed on its own; a request waits up to an hour for an answer and can be cancelled from the phone while it waits. With your PIN you can unblock anything yourself at any time.
It is expected for now: Windows may say “Windows protected your PC” or “Unknown publisher”, because the installer is not yet signed with a Windows publisher certificate. That is also what a fake installer would show, so do not just click through. Check the file first: its SHA-256 must match the one published at siyag.app/installer-sha256.txt (in PowerShell: Get-FileHash "Siyag-Setup.exe"). Only if it matches, choose More info, then Run anyway.
